Luke Bryan is a successful American country singer and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. He began his musical career in 2004 with a track on Travis Tritt’s album My Honky Tonk History. He has made five albums over his career including; I’ll Stay Me in 2007, Doin’ My Thing in 2009, Tailgates and Tanlines in 2001, Crash my Party in 2013 and most recently Kill the Lights from August 2015.
His talent and popularity have earned him numerous accolades. In 2012, 2013 and 2014 he won Favorite Male Country Artist award. In 2014, he received the Top Country Album, Top Country Artist, and Top Country Song awards. The following year Luke won the Canadian Country Music Association Top Selling Album award as well as CMA Entertainer of The Year.
He embarks on his “Kill the Lights Tour” in February 2016 in Evansville, Indiana. The four-month long Stateside tour is to promote and celebrate his latest album “Kill The Lights”. Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch are supporting artists on the tour. Little Big Town will miss four of the performances. Rising country star and a big winner at the 2015 CMA awards Chris Stapleton will be a special guest at the Dallas, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts concerts.
Luke is also a part of Houston livestock Show and Rodeo that takes places between his tour dates. He is one of a number of country artists involved with the Bayou Country Superfest. After Bayou, he is participating in the Country 500 Festival at the iconic Daytona International Speedway in Florida, which will host forty bands and artists on three stages for three days. Milwaukee, Wisconsin Summerfest is another event Luke is attending. The Summerfest is a five-day event; that takes places twice and has bands and artists from all music genres.
